A late-night altercation turned deadly in Arawak Cay early Sunday, October 26, 2025, leaving one man dead and two others injured in what authorities describe as a chaotic and violent confrontation.
According to police, ShotSpotter Technology alerted officers to gunfire around 1:30 a.m. near West Bay Street, where they discovered three men suffering from various injuries following a dispute at a local establishment.
The victim who tragically lost his life has been identified as Philip Lockhart. Preliminary reports suggest the confrontation escalated quickly — one man was reportedly struck with a blunt object, another stabbed, and Lockhart fatally shot. All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where Lockhart succumbed to his injuries. The stabbing victim is reported to be in stable condition, while the third individual’s status has not yet been released.
Police have impounded a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident and have detained a 29-year-old man who sought medical treatment for questioning in relation to the case.
Investigators are continuing their efforts to determine the motive and sequence of events that led to the deadly encounter. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they work to deliver justice for Philip Lockhart and his grieving loved ones.
